Supporting our housing mission, QUAD's Station 162 is our fifth housing development project. This remarkable complex offers below-market rents to individuals and families with household incomes below 60% of Area Median Income. 25 one-bedroom units have been specially designed to maximize independence for residents who use wheelchairs and 19 units have been designed for elderly residents with a host of lifestyle features that are adaptable to the resident’s physical ability and can be adjusted to meet their changing needs over time. LEED certified and recipient of the 2018 HUD Secretary Design Award, Station 162 offers a variety of common spaces, mailroom, and an outdoor courtyard with garden boxes. Laundry and exercise rooms are available on each level. Located on SE 162nd Avenue between Burnside and Stark, Station 162 is less than one block from a MAX Station and less than 100 yards from an accessible Tri-met stop.
